The Courtship & Engagement
Phil and Sammie met through mutual friends in Houston, where they both live and work. They fell madly in love over a summer of partying with friends, boating, and trips to float the Guadalupe River. Phil proposed to Sammie over a weekend in the Hill Country, where after a nervous day of searching for the perfect location, he took a knee on an unknown and undisclosed hill overlook near Canyon Lake. They plan to reside in Houston and start their lives as newlyweds at the start of their 3rd summer together.
